WAI
The WAI was set up to improve the accessibility of the World Wide Web for people with disabilities. Users of the internet who have disabilities may encounter problems when accessing the web. Many people who have disabilities often require special devices and browsers to make websites more accessible.
The W3C launched the WAI in 1997. It has several working groups and interest groups that work on guidelines for accessibility, technical reports and educational materials.
The WAI covers web content, web browsers, media players, authoring tools, and evaluation tools.
WAI tests are part of the accessibility tests that I can carry out as part of the accessibility test on your website.
The WAI can be seen at http://www.w3.org/WAI/.
